Will it straighten my curls?
Smoothfiller enhances curls, giving you soft, frizz-free, elongated curls. It won’t straighten curls.
Can I have colour in the same appointment?
Yes! We can apply Colour Touch right after your Smoothfiller treatment. If you want highlights or regrowth colouring (less than 1cm), we can do that before your Smoothfiller in the same appointment. For full-head permanent colour, just wait for five washes after Smoothfiller. Book in for free consultation to discuss your options.
How is it applied?
After a consultation, we wash your hair and dry it until it’s about 80% dry. Then we apply Smoothfiller and leave it on for 20 minutes. After rinsing out the extra product, we dry your hair completely. We use a straightening iron several times during the treatment to activate it, which creates new bonds that smooth, fill, and restructure your hair.
How should I look after my hair?
You can wash your hair immediately after the service. Some clients notice an odour when the hair is wet for the first few washes; this is harmless and fades over time. The smoothing effect lasts up to three months and fades gradually with each wash, so you won’t see any obvious regrowth. For at-home care, we suggest using the Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth line.
